Solid Waste & Recycling Collection and Disposal Services Question Deadline 07/25/2025 at 3:00 PM ET Questions must be submitted in writing to the City Clerk, Zoie Burgess at zburgess@westlakegov.com The City reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to accept or reject any or all Proposals, in whole or in part, to waive all nonmaterial irregularities and/or technicalities and to award, the contract on such terms it deems will best serve the interests of the City. This solicitation is subject to the Florida Cone of Silence Laws, specifically Palm Beach County Code cone of silence. Any communications outside of the authorized avenues is prohibited and may be subject to legal remedies. This would include any council member, contract services providers or any individual appointed to evaluate or recommend selection in the procurement process. The cone of silence shall terminate at the time the city awards or approves the contract for services or votes to reject all proposals or otherwise takes action which ends the solicitation process. Pursuant to section 287.05701, Florida Statutes (2024), the City may not request documentation of or consider a vendors social, political, or ideological interests when determining if the vendor is responsible.
