Snow Removal Vanderbilt Area School is accepting bids for snow removal services for a three-year contract beginning with the 2025-2026 snow season. Required services include: o Snow plowing of all paved areas, including parking lots and driveways, when snow accumulation reaches 2 inches or more o Complimentary grading of the parking lot once per contract year o Sidewalk clearing of all walkways, including building entrances o Salting of parking lots and sidewalks to ensure safe access for students, staff, and visitors Bid Options Requested Interested vendors are asked to submit proposals for: o Flat Rate Bid: A fixed seasonal price per year, paid in five equal monthly installments (December through April) o Per Run Bid: A per-occurrence rate for plowing, sidewalk clearing, and salting, with per-service pricing clearly listed Contract Term This will be a three-year agreement, covering the following seasons: o Season One: 2025-2026 o Season Two: 2026-2027 o Season Three: 2027-2028 Bid Requirements All bids must include: o Proof of general liability insurance o Description of available equipment o A primary contact name, phone number, and email address o (Optional) References from similar school or municipal contracts Submission & Award Timeline o Bid Deadline: August 8, 2025 o Award Date: August 13, 2025 Board of Education Meeting o Services must be ready to begin by November 15, 2025 Please direct questions Dr. David Harwood, Superintendent Phone: (989) 983-2561 Email: harwoodd@vanderbilt.k12.mi.us
