The project is expected to be awarded on August 31st, 2025.** DESCRIPTION: This project consists of roadway improvements in El Paso County, as noted below: Safety Illumination: Intersection of Strahan Rd. and Moore Rd. Intersection of Borderline and Morrill Rd. Traffic Signals: Eastlake Blvd. and Emerald Sand St. Emerald Pass Ave. and Rojas Dr. Roadway Flashing Beacon and a Four-Way Stop: Emerald Pass Ave. and Peyton Dr. Signing and Pavement Markings: Eastlake Blvd. and Emerald Sand St. to Emerald Pass Ave. and Rojas Dr. Emerald Pass Ave. and Peyton Dr. BIDDER REQUIREMENT: Proposal Volume I of II (Bid Packet) will only be issued to proposed bidders that: (1) are Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) Prequalified Contractors, qualified under Item 2L Section 2 "Instructions to Bidders" of the TxDOT Local Government General Requirements and Covenants; and (2) have not been determined by the CRRMA to have been in default under a CRRMA contract within the past three (3) years. QUESTIONS DUE DATE: Questions may be submitted to Edgar Fino at Edgar.Fino@atkinsrealis.com until Wednesday, July 16, 2025 at 5:00 PM (MDT). The CRRMA reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive all technicalities, and to accept the bid or bids most beneficial to the CRRMA, as applicable. Maintain the entire project area in a neat and orderly manner throughout the duration of the work. Remove all construction litter and undesirable vegetation within the right of way inside the project limits. This work will be subsidiary to the various bid items. Become familiar with project site prior to submitting bids. General project description - This project consists of roadway improvements including illumination, signing, pavement markings and traffic signals in the following intersections in El Paso, Texas. Strahan Rd and Moore Rd Borderline at Morrill Rd. Eastlake Blvd. at Emerald Sand St. Emerald Pass Ave. at Rojas Dr. Emerald Pass Ave. at Peyton Dr. As-Built plans are to be submitted by the Contractor as part of the project close-out process. Payment will not be released if documents are not provided, files must be provided prior to the final inspection for the punch list. Proposal Guaranty. Provide a proposal guaranty in the amount indicated on the proposal form. Use an electronic bid bond. Guaranty checks or printed bid bonds will not be accepted.
