Plant No : 41544-88 Scope of Work of the Contract includes the water, sewer and drainage improvements. Each Bid must be accompanied by a bid bond acceptable to the Owner, in an amount not less than 5 percent of the total amount bid, as a guarantee that the successful bidder will enter into the Contract and execute the Bonds on the forms provided and provide the required insurance certificates within 7 days after the date Contract Documents are received by the Contractor. The successful bidder must furnish a Performance and a Payment Bond, each in the sum of 100 percent of the Contract Price and a one-year Maintenance Bond for 100 percent of the Contract Price, from a surety company holding a permit from the State of Texas to act as surety. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive all defects and irregularities in bidding or bidding process except time of submitting a Bid. The Successful Bidder, if any, will be the responsible Bidder which in the Board's judgment will be most advantageous to the District and result in the best and most economical completion of the Project. The apparent most qualified, responsible bidder shall submit to Owner, within 5 calendar days of notification, either i) a fully completed Contractor's Statement of Qualification or ii) a written statement that the most recently submitted Contractor's Statement of Qualification is accurate, which statement shall be considered in the award of the Contract
