Gogebic County Land Bank Authority (GCLBA) will accept sealed bids from qualified and experienced environmental professionals to provide services in support of a planned demolition project scheduled for 2026. Gogebic County Land Bank Authority (GCLBA) will accept sealed bids for HMA, Phase I, and Phase II for a commercial structure. The GCLBA is funding this project through the use of a Blight Elimination Grant from the Michigan State Land Bank Authority, and the project will be conducted in compliance with grant requirements, including reporting requirements. Scope of Work Includes: o Asbestos Survey o Hazardous Materials Assessment (HMA) o Phase I Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) o Phase II Environmental Site Assessment (if warranted based on Phase I findings). All work must comply with federal, state, and local regulations, including EPA, MIOSHA, and EGLE standards. Respondents must demonstrate relevant experience, capacity to complete the work on schedule, and understanding of environmental safety protocols. A certified check or bid bond in the amount of not less than 5% of the total submitted bid must be included with each proposal. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 90 days following the opening of the bid.
