Site work for a museum in Castalian Springs, Tennessee. Completed plans call for site work for a 2,450-square-foot, two-story above grade museum.

Exterior restoration of the historic Cragfont Mansion State Historic Site and construction of a new pavilion Bids are invited for a General Contract for the Work of the above project Bidders submitting bids equal to or greater than $25,000 in value are required to be licensed in accordance with state law. A statement of public contract crime status and minority business status is required on the Bid Form. Additionally, the Drug Free Workplace Affidavit and a five percent (5%) bid security is required. Non-discrimination policy applies to this project. The Owner reserves the right to waive informalities and to reject bids. Question Deadline 08/02/2025 at 2:00 PM CT change from 08/01/2025 Questions must be received by Designer at least four calendar days before bid opening date. No changes are binding unless in writing and all questions, clarifications or modifications will be issued as addendum during the bidding process. All those present were asked to submit their questions in writing to Centric to Jim Thompson by email (jthompson@centricarchitecture.com) so that they can be officially communicated to all bidders and plan rooms. Masonry: a) Repoint the cracks in the stone at the northwest corner of the rear ell using lime-based mortar and matching the existing mortar color and adjacent joint profile. b) Rebuild the north brick lintel above the smokehouse vent at the Second Floor elevated walkway of the rear ell where it is out of plane. Use lime-based mortar and matching the existing mortar color and joint profile. c) Patch the stucco removed on the Second Floor above the window on the west side of the rear ell. Match the existing stucco mix, thickness and texture. Paint to match the adjacent remaining stucco. 2) Shutters a) See Alternates: New exterior shutters: provide new wood shutters on the first floor windows in locations noted and re using painted cast iron pintle hinges and shutter dogs. 3) Windows a) Remove all existing wood window sash. Number the removed sash and maintain for use during construction related to general size, thickness and dimensions for new replacement window sash shop drawings that matches the details of the remaining historic sash found in the General's office. Remove from the site once the work is complete or store as directed by the project representative Project # 230142
