Renovation of a residential development in Boston, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
Contractor Qualification DCAMM Certificate New windows, roofing, entry awnings, solar panels, geothermal system providing heating and cooling to all units, air source heat pump water heaters, electrical upgrades, landscaping. Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. The Project is supported in whole or in part by federal funding administered by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and the BHA, a public body and corporate duly established under the laws of Massachusetts. Accordingly, the procurement and construction of the project is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws, regulations, ordinances, and rules including but not limited to Federal Code of Regulations, Title 24 Part 85.36. The Project is also subject to certain BHA construction program-related policies such as the BHA's Minority and Women Participation Provision (MPP) and Resident Employment Provision (REP). See Sections III (H), VII (D) and VII (E) of Part I of this RFQ for more information concerning these requirements Prequalification for GC HVAC & Mechanical Systems: - Full HVAC system replacement with geothermal heating and cooling. - Installation of new ERV (Energy Recovery Ventilation) systems, including fire-rated chases with smoke dampers for ductwork distribution. - Demolition of existing centralized domestic hot water (DHW) system and installation of new de-centralized air-source heat pump water heaters. - Natural gas-powered backup generator for Building 5.
