Demolition, site work, new construction and addition to an educational facility in Chanute, Kansas. Completed plans call for the addition of a 24,615-square-foot, one-story above grade educational facility; for the demolition of a educational facility; for the construction of a educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
Neosho County Community College will receive Bids for a Combined Contract, including General Construction, Mechanical, and Electrical Work, for the Mih Family Fine Arts Center project. Bids must be on a Lump Sum basis. Each Bid shall be accompanied by a certified check or cashier's check, certified or issued by a state or national bank in the amount of at least five percent (5%) of the total amount of the Bid payable to Neosho County Community College, or in lieu thereof, the Bidder may furnish a Bid Bond in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the Bid. Such bond shall be issued by a surety authorized to do business in the State of Kansas, and made payable to Neosho County Community College as a guarantee that such Bidder will enter into a Contract with the Owner for the Work described in the Bid and furnish bond as specified. All Bidders are subject to and must comply with applicable state and federal anti-discrimination laws. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive informalities or irregularities in the bidding.
