The City of Sugar Land seeks bids for furnishing all labor, material, and equipment, and performing all work required for the following project in the City: CIP PROJECT NAME: Wastewater Treatment Plant Improvements (SWWTP Aerators Replacement Project) LOCATION OF WORK: 4802 Scenic Rivers Dr, Sugar Land, TX 77479 A. Work is described in general, non-inclusive terms as: 1. Installation of mechanical surface aerators in existing oxidation ditches 2. Associated mechanical and electrical improvements necessary for complete working aerator system. The operators of the treatment plant have made recommendations for upgrades of different components of the facilities. The improvements will increase water quality, increase plant efficiencies, and reduce life cycle costs. The project consist of replacement of equipment and improvements to Wastewater Treatment Plants for key components identified through operations of the plants. Provide the labor, materials, equipment, tools, supplies and incidentals required for a completely operable mechanical surface aerators system in existing oxidation ditches. 2. Provide the civil, architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and all other work required for a complete and operable project. 3. Test and place the completed project in operation. 4. Provide special tools, spare parts, lubricants, supplies, or other materials as indicated in Contract Documents for the operation and maintenance of the Project. 5. Drawings and specifications do not indicate or describe all of the work required to complete the project. Additional details required for the correct installation of selected products are to be provided by the Contractor and coordinated with the Engineer.
