Site work for a civil project in Locust Grove, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Furnishing all materials, equipment and labor necessary to install approximately 2,400 linear feet of 8-inch gravity sewer, 2,000 linear feet of sewer service line and remove and replace approximately 500 linear feet of storm drain, complete with manholes, septic tank abandonments and other appurtenances. Ail proposais shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond drawn in favor ofthe City of Locust Grove, Georgia in the amount of at least 5% of the lump sum bid for the complete work; such Bid Bond representing that the Bidder, if awarded the contract, will promptly enter into a contract and furnish Performance Bond and Payment Bond as provided by law and approved by the Attorney forthe City ofLocust Grove, Georgia. Each bond shall be equal to 100% ofthe contract amount. The Bid Bond shall be forfeited to the City of Locust Grove, Georgia as liquidated damages ifthe Bidder fails to execute the contract and provide Performance and Payment Bonds within 10 days after being notified that he has been awarded the contract. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities.
