Renovation of an educational facility in Everett, Massachusetts. Working plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

**As of August 11th, 2025, bids received were rejected as they were over the budget. Project will be rebid but no definite date yet The Everett Public Schools is seeking bids from qualified contractors to remove and replace the existing T1-11 (Texture 111) siding on the modular classroom structures located at the Webster School-30 Dartmouth St. All work must comply with applicable building codes, safety regulations, and manufacturer installation standards. Contractor Qualification Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. Every request for such interpretation should be in writing addressed to monica.ford@ci.everett.ma.us and to be given consideration must be received at least seven (7) days prior to the date fixed for the opening of bids Scope of Work Demolition and Removal Carefully remove and dispose of all existing T1-11 siding and related weather barriers. Remove all fasteners, nails, or debris from the wall structure. Protect all adjacent building elements, including windows, doors, mechanical equipment, and utilities during removal. Inspection and Repairs Inspect wall framing, sheathing and insulation for water damage or deterioration. Report any framing damage requiring major repair to the Owner before proceeding. Report any missing or wet insulation requiring replacement to the Owner before proceeding. Installation of New Siding Install new T1-11 siding panels (minimum 5/8 exterior-grade, grooved plywood panels). Install a continuous vapor barrier (Tyvek or approved equal) beneath the new siding. Install all siding per manufacturer's instructions and best practices to ensure long-term performance and weather resistance. PVC Trim Installation All new trim, fascia, and corner boards must be PVC material (e.g., Azek or equivalent). Trim shall be properly sealed, fastened, and installed in accordance with manufacturer specifications. Caulk all joints and transitions using high-quality, paintable exterior-grade sealant.
