The project will include, but not necessarily be limited to, the installation of erosion control measures; demolition; earthwork and finish grading; rock excavation; drainage; concrete paving; concrete pavers; asphalt paving; modular retaining/freestanding walls; railings; interpretive signage (including graphics); site electrical; pond fountain; site lighting; natural stream construction; landscaping; and other miscellaneous improvements. Bid Alternates are also included for site furnishings; canopy structure; bentonite pond liner; and temporary irrigation . Question Deadline 07/30/2025 at 5:00 PM ET Bidder Questions shall be submitted in writing via email to Jennifer Salyer at Jennifer.Salyer@bargedesign.com All bidders must be licensed contractors as required by the Contractors Licensing Act of 1994, as amended (TCA Title 62, Chapter 6), of the General Assembly of the State of Tennessee. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond in the amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount bid. This bid bond is required as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, a contract will be entered into and the performance thereof duly secured by an approved performance bond The successful bidder will be required to furnish an acceptable Performance Bond and a Payment Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price, each bond. The City of Johnson City reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive irregularities in the Bids, and to determine the lowest responsible Bidder. Construction of all facilities including cleanup work and final grading shall be substantially complete within 270 calendar days after the date set in the Notice to Proceed.
