Scope of Work of the Contract includes drainage and paving facilities for the extension of Common Dock Drive (a commercial road). The deadline to ask questions is 7/27/2025 12:00 AM CST , Before submitting its Bid, the Bidder shall carefully study and compare the various Drawings and other Bid Documents, any information furnished by the Owner, and any existing conditions related to the Work and shall observe conditions at the site. Each Bidder is obligated to notify the Engineer in writing of any errors, omissions, inconsistencies or other problems it discovers in the Bid Document Each Bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or a certified or cashier's check, acceptable to the Owner, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the greatest amount bid, including any and all alternates called for in the Bid Form, as a guarantee that the successful bidder will enter into the Contract and execute the Bonds on the forms provided, and provide the required insurance certificates within 7 days after the date Contract Documents are received by the Contractor. The successful bidder receiving the contract award must furnish Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) each of the Total Contract price. Each such bond shall be executed by the corporate surety duly authorized to do business in the State of Texas. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive all defects and irregularities in a Bid not involving price, time or changes in the Work.
