Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Stuart, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Martin County is seeking bids from qualified Contractors to provide sand placement and restoration services in preparation for severe storms that may cause damaging erosion to County beaches and waterfront parks. Services may include beach and dune restoration, emergency sand placement, screening, debris removal, grading, tilling, and other related work. Bids must include all costs for site preparation and returning the area to preconstruction conditions, including boardwalk removal and replacement and asphalt repairs. Funding for this contract may be derived in whole or in part from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). Accordingly, the Contractor and all subcontractors must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, executive orders, and FEMA requirements. Prohibited Communications. The Cone of Silence prohibits any communication regarding a RFB, RFP, RFQ or other competitive solicitation between any bidder (or its agents or representatives) or other entity with the potential for a financial interest in the award (or their respective agents or representatives) regarding such competitive solicitation, AND any County Commissioner or County employee, selection committee member or other persons authorized to act on behalf of the Board including the County's Architect, Engineer or their subconsultants, or to provide a recommendation to award a particular contract, other than Purchasing Division staff (pur_div@martin.fl.us). The Cone of Silence shall be in effect from the time of advertisement until contract award. Such communication shall result in disqualification. The County recognizes fair and open competition as a basic tenet of public procurement. Contractors doing business with the County are prohibited from discriminating on the basis of race, color, creed, national origin, handicap, age or sex. Minority-Owned, Woman-Owned, and Small Business Enterprises are encouraged to respond to this solicitation.
