STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW) 1. Background. The chosen contractor shall provide complete construction services including labor, materials, equipment, and supervision required to complete the “EHRM Installation of DDPO3 project for the Cincinnati VAMC and Fort Thomas Domiciliary. This project will complete all remaining data drop, power drop, and mounting deficiencies seen within the above stated facility in support of the upcoming Electronic Health Record Management initiative. Fulfillment of this project will ensure proper support for Cerner equipment prior to EHRM go-live. 2. Scope. The “EHRM Installation of DDPO3” project include three different initiatives including completion of various data/regular power/emergency power drops and installation of Government-Furnished mounts from Cerner. ICRA class types will vary throughout the project as there is an abundance of locations to cover (ranging from Class II to Class III/IV). This project will require the use of a portable HEPA cart for the successful completion of this project, along with heightened attention to detail on daily cleanup as spaces will not be completely shutdown for work to commence. This construction project requires general contracting, survey and demolition of existing conditions, painting, low-voltage electrical power conductors and cables, raceway and boxes for electrical systems, wiring devices, and communications structured cabling for successful completion. The owner has 120 days to award the project, and the project is awating to go-ahead from The Department of Veterans' Affairs. A firm construction timeline for this project has not yet been released.
