Site work, renovation and addition to an educational facility in Laval, Quebec. Design plans call for the renovation of a 11,425-square-foot educational facility; for site work for a educational facility; and for the addition of a 26,880-square-foot, three-story above grade, 15-room, 288-seat educational facility.
Expansion and partial replacement of the Du Park elementary school. The scope of work includes demolition the Duplessis building of Du Park school (an outdated area) and rebuilding a structure with an additional area to accommodate 15 groups (adding four groups). The new building will have the capacity to accommodate approximately 288 students. Located on a 7,424 m2 site, the school will benefit from an expansion with a total building area of nearly 2,489 m2 spread over three floors, in addition to an area to be redeveloped of 1,052 m2 in the remaining parts of the building. TIMELINE: Preliminary planning is underway. Working drawings are expected to begin in summer 2026. According to the owner's scheduling design of the project will be completed in late fall, a tender for the general contractor will follow in late 2026/early 2027. Construction will begin in spring of 2027.
