Site work, renovation and addition to an educational facility in Laval, Quebec. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a 11,425-square-foot educational facility; for site work for a educational facility; and for the addition of a 26,880-square-foot, three-story above grade, 15-room, 288-seat educational facility.
Expansion and partial replacement of the Du Park elementary school. The scope of work includes demolition the Duplessis building of Du Park school (an outdated area) and rebuilding a structure with an additional area to accommodate 15 groups (adding four groups). The new building will have the capacity to accommodate approximately 288 students. Located on a 7,424 m2 site, the school will benefit from an expansion with a total building area of nearly 2,489 m2 spread over three floors, in addition to an area to be redeveloped of 1,052 m2 in the remaining parts of the building. TIMELINE: Process of the Request for proposals from architectural consulting firms to complete the project design and construction work monitoring has closed. Deposited submissions are under review at the owner. The award is anticipated in mid-/late fall 2025. The timelines for further project development will be finalized after a design consultant award.
