Site work, renovation and addition to an educational facility in Laval, Quebec. Design plans call for the renovation of a 11,425-square-foot educational facility; for site work for a educational facility; and for the addition of a 26,880-square-foot, three-story above grade, 15-room, 288-seat educational facility.
Expansion and partial replacement of the Du Park elementary school. The scope of work includes demolition the Duplessis building of Du Park school (an outdated area) and rebuilding a structure with an additional area to accommodate 15 groups (adding four groups). The new building will have the capacity to accommodate approximately 288 students. Located on a 7,424 m2 site, the school will benefit from an expansion with a total building area of nearly 2,489 m2 spread over three floors, in addition to an area to be redeveloped of 1,052 m2 in the remaining parts of the building. TIMELINE: Following the request for proposals 2025/26-005/20083090 the owner has awarded a mechanical and electrical engineering professional consulting firm to complete design and construction work monitoring. Preliminary studies and conceptual design are underway. Timelines for further project development will be finalized at a later date.
