Renovation of a residential development in Cairo, New York. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a residential development.

Design a complete roof replacement project specific to the conditions at the above residence. Existing roof is asphalt installed over wooden shingles. The vendor shall provide all labor and materials necessary to complete the work in a professional manner according to this scope of work and the attached specifications for Asphalt Shingle Roofing Systems. Work is to be completed within 45 days of award, unless modified below. This is a NYS Public Works project, and prevailing wages are to be paid. Refer to attached specification and the following scope of work SCOPE OF WORK includes, but is not necessarily limited to the following: 1. Design replacement project that completely removes all roofing layers on main residence down to existing purlins, and accounts for potential replacement of any purlins damaged. Detached garage is outside of this scope and shall not be considered. 2. New roof design should meet and comply with all standards as outlined in OPWDD ROOF DESIGN STANDARDS_master.pdf, attached. 3. Design should include, if necessary, any additional work to account for the new roof such as, but not limited to fascia trim, flashing, roof edge drainage, etc. 4. Provide design to OPWDD at 90% and 100% for review. 5. Accurately prepare the attached Prebid estimate form based on the approved 100% design. 6. Separate bid shall also include up to three (3) site visits for the purposes of inspecting the work once it begins to ensure it adheres to the design and all applicable building codes.
