The City of St. Charles ("City") is requesting bids from qualified restoration contractors to perform maintenance repairs to the West Parking Structure. Work includes various concrete repairs, caulking removal & replacement, replacement of expansion joints, application of a traffic topping membrane, trench drain replacement, paint traffic markings and curb faces, replacement of broken glass & other miscellaneous repairs. Questions due prior to 8:00am Procurement@stcharlesil.gov July 25, 2025 Council/City Administrator Award Anticipated Award Date September 3, 2025 Bid Bond of 10% is Required Yes Offers may be withdrawn at any time prior to the due date. Requests to withdraw an offer shall be in writing, properly signed, and received by the Procurement Division at Procurement@stcharlesil.gov prior to the due date. Liquidated Damages a) Time is of the essence in the performance of all the terms and conditions of this Contract. Accordingly, instead of requiring any such proof, OWNER and CONTRACTOR agree that as liquidated damages for delay (but not as a penalty) CONTRACTOR shall pay OWNER Seven hundred fifty dollars and zero cents ($750.00) for each day. Service Period: September 1, 2025 - November 30, 2025 (3 months)
