The City of Coppell is accepting bids for the reconstruction of Howell Drive and Bullock Drive Street Reconstruction (ST22-02). The work shall consist of the removal of approximately 5,610 square yards of primarily asphalt pavement and construction of approximately 7010 square yards of 6" concrete street, alley, and drive approach pavement, 1,220 square yard of concrete sidewalk, construction of storm drain inlets, construction of approximately 2,174 linear feet of reinforced concrete storm drain pipes; construction of approximately 1,980 linear feet of waterline, 2,003 feet of sanitary sewer line; and removal, installation and adjustment of miscellaneous valves, manholes, water/sanitary sewer services, and other appurtenant structures. This project includes tree removal, restoration of sod, landscaping, irrigation, mailboxes, street signs, and any other items disturbed during the project. The overall scope of work shall include all components necessary for the "turnkey" construction of the project as shown in the plans for the Howell Drive and Bullock Drive Street Reconstruction (ST22-02). The Contractor for this project shall be responsible for coordinating with the residents regarding driveway access, mail/trash pickup (as applicable) and available street parking within the project. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive formalities. Unreasonable or unbalanced unit prices will be considered sufficient cause for rejection of any bid or bids.
