The intent of this contract is to provide means for the Department to quickly respond to unexpected safety and/or operational issues for a period of 730 days or until the contracted amount has been reached. The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and supplies required to complete the work in accordance with the work plan, specifications, procedures, and terms of the contract. The work under this contract will be controlled by the issuance of work documents. Contract work documents will identify the location, description, amount of work to be accomplished, and the number of calendar days to complete the work. The budgetary ceiling for this contract is $1,000,000. All work documents will include mobilization compensation that will account for 10% of the final document costs per this contract's specifications. The quantities shown on the Bid Price Proposal are approximate and only represent estimated planned requirements based on historical or specific project needs. The Department does not guarantee any maximum or minimum quantity, any range of the quantities, or the exact quantities shown for each bid item.
