Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Syracuse, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
Question Deadline 07/31/2025- All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. The Project consists of new outdoor diesel generators, associated electrical work, fence modifications, and minor site improvements at three pump stations located in Onondaga County. All work will be performed under a single prime contract. The project is funded with a grant from New York State Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Services and the Federal Emergency Management Agency. Conditions Apply. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis, with additive alternate bid items as indicated in the Bid Form. Following registration, complete sets of Bidding Documents may be obtained from online. The date that the Bidding Documents are obtained will be considered the Bidder's date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of the Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Bidder is encouraged to register with the Issuing Office to ensure timely receipt of any information or addenda that may be issued. Each Bid must be submitted on the prescribed Bid Form and accompanied by Bid security, as prescribed in the Instructions to Bidders. The Successful Bidder will be required to furnish the additional bond(s) prescribed in the Bidding Documents. The Successful Bidder will be required to comply with Onondaga County Water Authority's Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprise Policy. The combined M/WBE participation goal for this project is 15% of the total contract value. In order to perform public work, the Successful Bidder and Subcontractors prior to contract award shall hold or obtain such license as required by State statutes, and Federal and local Laws and Regulations. Bids will not be accepted from Bidders that have been barred from competing on public works under General Municipal Law 5A-103-b. Bids will not be accepted from Bidder's determined to be Non-Responsive by the New York State Office of General Services. This Project is a "Covered Project" under New York State Labor Law 220-I and the Bidder must hold a valid Certificate of Registration from the New York State Department of Labor to submit a bid and at all times for the duration of the Work. Purchase made by the Onondaga County Water Authority are not subject to any Federal, State or local sales tax. Bidders shall not include in their bid sales and compensating use taxes on the cost of materials. Exemption certificates will be executed upon request.
