Description Title: Selma Rd & E Main St. Sidewalk, Curb & Gutter Program Project Description: Work consists of curb ramp installation, sidewalk replacement and curb replacement. Work will be done on the following streets: Selma Road (Corp Line to Spring Street) and E. Main Street (Spring Street to Burnett Road). We, the undersigned have read and understand all requirements set forth in this Invitation to Bid (ITB), including specifications, instructions to bidders, terms and conditions and other pertinent information regarding the products and services being bid on and we agree to furnish the products and services at the price stated herein. Bidder shall provide the names and addresses of every person, partnership or firm, if any other than the bidder, might be interested in the bid or any contract or benefit which might accrue therefrom. The City reserves the right to request additional information to assist in determining a lowest and best bid. The scope of this bid is indicated by the items listed hereunder and in accordance with the specifications herein. Unless otherwise stated, the trade names in this bid shall be furnished. Exclude Federal Excise Tax and Ohio Sales Tax in bid prices. The City of Springfield is tax exempt. An exemption certificate will be signed upon request where applicable. The City's Federal Tax Exemption Registry number is 31 73 0690 K. Freight and delivery charges to designated City facility in Springfield, Ohio must be included. Charges may not be added after the bid is opened. Price Guarantee - 60 day minimum; however, the City prefers 90 days or more to allow for bid evaluation and City Commission authorization. Bidder shall provide pricing in the table(s) below. Bidder understands that a copy of the bid bond must be uploaded with bid submission and agrees to provide the City of Springfield with an original bid bond form (with original "wet" signature) upon request. In compliance with the Advertisement for Bids, and having careflly examined the Instructions to Bidders, the General Conditions and Supplemental General Conditions, if any, Drawings, Specifications, Special Notes and related Documents, as wess as the site, and being familiar with all conditions affecting the Work, including the availability of labor and materials, the BIDDER hereby propses to perform all work for this project in accordance with the Contract Documents, within the time limits set forth therein, and at the prices stated hereinafter. BIDDER hereby agrees to commence work after receipt of the executed contract from the CITY, but not later than a date to be specified in the Notice to Proceed and to fully complete the Project by SEPTEMBER 1, 2026 thereinafter. BIDDER further agrees to pay as liquidated damages, the amounts set forth in Section 35.1 of the General Conditions.
