Renovation of a municipal facility in West Oneonta, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

The work of this single bid project includes upgrading emergency generation across multiple buildings. The scope of work includes installing four new permanent generators to provide full backup power to Mills Dining Hall, the Human Ecology building, Milne Library on the main Oneonta campus, and the Biological Field Station in Cooperstown. Each building will also be equipped with portable generator connections. The project will encompass all necessary electrical infrastructure, interior renovations, and site work. This scope of work also includes hazardous materials abatement. All bidders must present evidence of skill, experience and financial qualifications per Information to Bidders, Section 7 of the project specs. Subcontracting is permitted (Section 2.18 of SUCF Agreement). Principal subcontractors must be named within 48 hrs after bid opening per Information for Bidders Section 8. Bidders must submit within 48 hrs either certification of its NYS VendRep questionnaire (preferred) or a signed and notarized paper CCA2 form (Version 3/22 only), Attachments A, B, and C, Appendix A form, work descriptions, and preliminary project schedule. EEO goals for this project: 6% minority workforce and 3% female workforce Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Set Aside: No Minority Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 5% Women Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 5% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Contracting Goal: 3% Contract term: 730 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed This work shall consist of furnishing an electronic material delivery ticket, e-ticket, and delivering the e-ticket to the Department's e-ticketing portal, MyDOTportal, in accordance with 105.03. This work shall consist of digging inspection holes in accordance with 105.03, to verify the exact location of underground utilities that are in potential conflict with the proposed construction. This work shall consist of: (a)covering soil slopes with a cohesive soil to establish vegetation; (b)use of soil reinforcement materials and blankets for mulching seed as shown on the plans and in accordance with these requirements; (c)use of water absorption chemicals to hold water and keep moisture available for seed germination; and (d)soil testing for pH, nutrient supply, and organic matter percentage. This work shall consist of providing a Law Enforcement Officer, LEO, to assist with the safe, efficient, orderly movement of traffic and to enhance worker safety during construction activities. This work shall consist of cleaning, removing corrosion, or other deleterious substances, patching existing concrete surfaces as shown on the plans, and providing a field-applied reinforced concrete encasement system using an externally bonded fiber reinforced polymer, FRP, composite system in accordance with 105.03.
