Site work and new construction of a medical facility in Quebec, Quebec. Design plans call for site work for a medical facility; and medical facility.
Design and construction of an external hemodialysis centre (EHC) within a rapidly developing area of the city and close to the new hospital complex under construction on the site of the Hôpital de l'Enfant-Jésus. The CHU de Québec is extending hemodialysis services by increasing the number of available chairs at the University Hospital Centre. The new EHC centre will be built in the framework of the Fleur de Lys construction program realized by the firm Trudel. Specifically, 64 hemodialysis chairs will eventually be available for the community at the CEH. An additional 12 to 18 chairs are planned at the New Hospital Centre (NCH) for complex and/or critical cases. TIMELINE: The owners have concluded a purchase of hemodialysis chairs via contract agreement # G25-0722ENO. Reference # 20090117. Further update in winter/spring, 2026. Note: The turnkey service agreement estimated at $109 million with Trudel company for the design and construction of the project. Parameters of the new facility and timelines of the building construction are being finalized. Note. Fleur de Lys is a property undergoing redevelopment that will include more than 4,500 residential units, a campus, an internationally renowned hotel, hundreds of businesses, and vast communal green spaces. Ultimately, the project will be one of the most exemplary in the country, promoting quality of life, human interaction and sustainability.
