Design and construction of an external hemodialysis centre (EHC) within a rapidly developing area of the city and close to the new hospital complex under construction on the site of the Hôpital de l'Enfant-Jésus. The new centre will be built in the framework of the Fleur de Lys construction program realized by the firm Trudel. It is expected that the project implementation will enhance the University Hospital Centre hemodialysis treatment offerings in a suitable environment by ensuring an increased number of available chairs. Specifically, 64 hemodialysis chairs will eventually be available for the community. TIMELINE: The project is preliminary. The owner has concluded a turnkey service agreement estimated at $109 million with Trudel company for the design and construction of the project. Parameters of the new facility and timelines of the building construction are being finalized. Note. Fleur de Lys is a property undergoing redevelopment that will include more than 4,500 residential units, a campus, an internationally renowned hotel, hundreds of businesses, and vast communal green spaces. Ultimately, the project will be one of the most exemplary in the country, promoting quality of life, human interaction and sustainability.
