Site work for a water / sewer project in Waterbury, Vermont. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The Sleeper Pond Dam on Mudd Creek will be removed. Project construction is anticipated between August 1, 2025 and October 1, 2025. Instream work periods will limit timing of portions of the work. Work tasks will generally involve removal of the concrete dam (~100 CY) and associated remains; sediment removal and haul from river and floodplain (~8,000 CY); invasive species handling; stream channel restoration using onsite bed materials; installation of beaver dam analogs and post assisted log structures; replacement and possible encasement of water main; installation of boulder revetments and dry stacked boulder wall; and site restoration.
