PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Installation bids will be received from electrical contractors for Softball field lighting system including removal of existing lighting equipment and wood poles. Immediately following expiration of the time for receiving bids, the City Ad- ministrator and/or Parks and Recreation Director will publicly open bids at the Hutchinson Recreation Center. PREC Director, securely sealed and endorsed upon the outside wrapper. At the Hutchinson Recreation Center 900 Harrington St SW Hutchinson Mn 55350 The successful bidder must be a “re- sponsible contractor.”The term “respon- sible contractor” means a contractor as defined in Minnesota Statues Section 16C.285, subdivision 3 Any prime con- tractor, subcontractor, or motor carrier that does not meet the minimum crite- ria or fails to comply with the verifica- tion requirements is not a responsible contractor and is not eligible to be awarded a construction contract for the project or to preform work on the con- tract. The City Council reserves the right to reject all bids and to waive any in- formalities and irregularities.
