.1 The scope of work includes the following scope of work: .1 Full removal, disposal of the existing roof assembly and vapour barrier. 2 Installation of as new 2ply, modified bitumen roof system. 3 Removal and installation of new membrane and sheet metal flashings within all new roof systems. .4 Removal of designated roof penetrations and installation of galvanized metal plate over the existing roof openings. 5 Removal and replacement of existing sealant materials. .6 All work detailed on the drawings and specifications. 2 Supply, installation and maintenance of scaffold stair access to the roof deck. The City of Ottawa will designate the locations for the scaffold installation. .3 Provide all necessary services, labour, equipment, and materials to complete the removal of the existing and installation of the new roofing system and further identified as follows: 1 Submit product shop drawings, MSDS and data sheets as outlined in Section 01 33 00 Submittal Procedures. 2 Supply, installation and maintenance of all required barriers, fencing, covered hoarding at the entrances / exists and signage in both official languages. .3 Disposal of all construction waste and debris at an approved facility, authorized to receive construction waste. .4 Provide all necessary vertical hoisting/lift equipment and cranes required to facilitate the removal of the existing and installation of the new roof systems. 5 Replacement of the roof penetration (conduit, vent/exhaust stacks, etc.) flashings with new pre-fabricated flashings that integrate into the new roofing system. .6 Temporarily disconnect, adjust and reinstallation all roof top equipment and roof system penetrations including plumbing, electrical, mechanical, security and or other devices and equipment at the roof level, necessary to facilitate the removal of the existing and installation of the new roof system. .7 Temporarily disconnect / lift or remove roof top equipment and systems to facilitate the work, reinstate to match existing. .8 Site clean-up.
