Closing Time: 2:00 PM (NT) ** Please note that there has been 1 addendum issued for this project. ** Question Acceptance Deadline 2025/07/29 01:00:00 PM NDT Work under this contract includes but is not necessarily limited to the following: 1 This project involves structural and mechanical upgrades to the fresh air intake plenum system at HSC. The scope includes the removal of temporary supports, installation of new steel stud framing, modifications to existing insulated metal panels (IMP), replacement of fresh air dampers and actuators located in the south soffit of the Level 3 Fresh Air Intake. The existing lighting and conduit is to be demolished and new lighting and conduit shall be installed. Work shall be carried out in compliance with the provided drawings and applicable building codes. 2 All work shall be coordinated with the Owner and Infection Prevention and Control (IPAC). Refer to phasing requirements as outlined in Item 1.3 below. .3 Detailed scope of work shall include: 1 Structural: Demolition and Preparatory Work 1 Remove all temporary supports required for the installation of new steel stud framing. 2 Ensure that all existing insulated metal panels (IMP) are level prior to new installation. 3 Identify and replace damaged, missing, or corroded insulated metal panels or bent plates at joints before proceeding with new installations. New Framing Installation 2 1 Install new steel stud framing, including built-up steel stud beams and posts as per drawing details. 2 Coordinate the placement of new steel stud beams/posts with existing wall openings. All steel stud framing shall be G90 minimum and painted with an approved epoxy coating. 4 Fasteners shall be stainless steel. 2 Mechanical: .1 Demolition and Removal 1 Remove existing bird screens, dampers, and pneumatic actuators as shown on drawings. 2 Remove and reinstate all controls associated with the airflow station to accommodate the installation of the new plenum structure as shown on the structural drawings.
