This is a Local Agency project. 4% DBE Participation Required Net classification required for this project is 1641 Ea or 1641 Fa In addition to the above minimum prequalification requirement for prime contractors this project includes subclassifications of Ea and Fa. If the prime contractor is not prequalified in those subclassifications it must use prequalified subcontractors. Those subcontractors must be designated prior to award of the contract to the confirmed low bidder. Control Sec Job No Federal No BO 77000 218192A 25A0743 Completion Date: 7/3/2026 MIDOT - 2508 023 - Bridge Reconstruction With 27 Foot 5 Inch by 7 Foot 0 Inch Aluminum Box Culvert, Steel Sheet Piling, Drainage Remove the existing 18-foot long by 24-foot span by 5.6-foot rise single span concrete box beam bridge with wingwalls and construct a 63-foot long by 27.42 -foot span by 7-foot rise 3-sided corrugated metal box culvert on footings. Keep the steel sheet pile walls along the footings in place. Install 104 cubic yards of riprap at proposed culvert inlet and outlet below the Ordinary High-Water Mark (OHWM) for erosion protection. Proposed culvert has wingwalls on each end. Relocate 250 feet of Meldrum Drain parallel to the road at the downstream end of the proposed culvert away from the road to accommodate widening road for two lanes. The 250-foot relocated channel has been redesigned to a two-stage channel and creates 130 cubic yards of earth work below the OHWM. Remove an existing stormwater pipe and replace it with an 18-inch stormwater pipe under driveway outlet to the Meldrum Creek at southeast quadrant of the proposed culvert at invert elevation 590.05 feet, NAVD 88. Install a 48-inch drainage cross road culvert outlet to the Meldrum Creek south of the Arnold Road downstream of the proposed culvert with invert elevation of 587.46 feet, NAVD88. The project needs 106 cubic yards of net excavation below the OHWM and 170 cubic yards net excavation below the 100-year floodplain elevation
