Lerch Bates Inc. has been authorized by Chris Huskey (918-685-0962) to request your firm to submit a quotation for the modernization of: 1. Two (2) hydraulic passenger elevators, Cars 1 and 2 (City Hall) 2. One (1) hydraulic passenger elevator, Car 1 (Manske Library) Make inquiries to Lerch Bates . Do not contact building personnel or the Owner. Document File Names Must Include: City of Farmers Branch - City Hall and Manske Library (Proposal Number 25- 27) R0100058168 All Document Cover Pages Must Include: ELEVATOR MODERNIZATION City of Farmers Branch - City Hall and Manske Library (Proposal Number 25-27) Farmers Branch, Texas Owner reserves right to reject any or all quotations, to accept other than lowest quotation and to waive any informality in connection with opening and award of Contract. Question Deadline 08/07/2025 If Contractor is in doubt as to the meaning of any requirement included in the Contract Documents, they shall contact the Consultant in writing for clarification at least five working days prior to quotation due date. To complete the Work in 60 calendar days from the date of the notice to proceed. A. Modernization of Three (3) elevators including, but not limited to, the following new systems and components: 1. Hydraulic Power Units 2. Operational Controls 3. Door Operating Equipment 4. Signal Fixtures 5. Car Interior Finishes B. Provide all labor, engineering, tools, transportation, services, supervision, materials, and equipment necessary for and incidental to satisfactory completion of required work as indicated in Contract Documents. C. Provide all required staging, hoisting and movement of new equipment, reused equipment, or removal of existing equipment. D. Applicable conditions of Owner's General, Special, and Supplemental Conditions. E. Prime contracts are defined below, and each is recognized to be a major part of required work to be performed concurrently in close coordination with work of other Contractors. 1. This Contract: Elevator Modernization including associated work included in Section 01 90 00. F. Scope of Contract includes, but is not limited to, the following: 1. Coordination, scheduling, and management of work of component suppliers and subcontractors. 2. Furnish and install equipment as specified, utilizing existing and/or modified hoistways and machine rooms 3. Specific item of required work which cannot be determined to be included in another contract is thereby determined to be included in prime contract.
