Site work for a water / sewer project in Bacliff, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Bids are invited for the work as described below: - Relocation of an existing 6-inch waterline and water service lines, including the abandonment of the existing waterline and surface restoration of all affected areas. Question Deadline 08/12/2025 at 12:00 PM CT Questions are to be submitted using the question and answer process on the procurement website. Responses to questions posted on the procurement website will be posted for the benefit of all Offerors. A response will be posted for questions submitted A bid bond in the amount of 5 percent of the bid issued by an acceptable surety shall be submitted with each bid. A certified check or bank draft payable to Bacliff MUD or negotiable U. S. Government Bonds (as par value) may be submitted in lieu of the Bid Bond. All contractors and subcontractors must be cleared (not suspended or debarred) prior to any formal action authorizing the award of a contract to the contractor. Minority Business Enterprises, Small Business Enterprises, Women Business Enterprises, Section 3 Businesses, and labor surplus area firms are encouraged to submit bids. The Bacliff MUD reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. Bids may be held by Bacliff MUD for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the bidder s qualifications prior to the contract award.
