Demolition, site work, paving, remodeling and addition to a mixed-use development in Saranac, Michigan. Completed plans call for the addition of a 1,252-square-foot municipal facility; for the demolition of a municipal facility; for the remodel of a municipal facility; for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and municipal facility.

The project includes remodeling the 1252 SF office area within the existing 3024 sf township hall. Two private offices (clerk & treasurer will be constructed within the current open office, leaving a reduced workroom. The supervisor's office will be enlarged, requiring the two existing furnaces within the adjacent room to be relocated within the same room. The two single-occupant restrooms will be enlarged and fixtures relocated to comply with current accessibility requirements. An 183SF entry lobby addition will be constructed on the north end of the building within transaction windows into the clerk's & treasurer's offices, with a transaction counter on the lobby side Two new storage rooms will be constructed under the existing canopy of the former office entry. At the southwest corner of the meeting, the existing egress door will be removed and a new egress door placed in the adjacent wall. A new canopy will be constructed over the new door. An 1140 SF section of the existing parking lot will be removed, regraded, & replaced to provide accessible parking at the new entry lobby. Additional sitework includes a new sidewalk from the public sidewalk to the new southwest door. Also replace the existing siding.
