A. The work will be completed under one prime contract. B. The following summary is a general guide to the scope of work. It should not be construed as a detailed list of work included in the contract. 1. Repair and replacement of selected wood roof structure and wood decking of two buildings; demolition and replacement of roofing and flashings of two historic buildings. 2. Concrete slab removal and replacement; stabilizing existing concrete slab in selected locations; demolition and reconstruction of historic stone stoops; chimney repair and stone tuckpointing at walls and floors. DESCRIPTION OF ALTERNATE Alternate 1: 1. Reset and repoint stone terrace, repoint mortar at stone wall/chimney, new concrete parging at top of stone wall at Coldwater building as indicated on drawings.
