The Town of Southbridge (hereinafter referred to as "the Town") is soliciting bids from qualified contractors for Road Improvements to several roads in Southbridge. The Contractor is to provide a reasonable schedule for the start and completion of the work to be approved by the DPW Director and/or Town Engineer. Town will require all work to be completed within 120 days of the Notice to Proceed, with special consideration for weather and other unforeseen conditions when agreed upon by Town. The successful Contractor will supply all materials, Labor, and equipment required to perform the project according to the plans and specifications. Please review all bidding documents thoroughly. No formal pre-bid meeting will be held, but bidders are encouraged to visit the sites. North Street from Mechanic Street to Foster St - 1.5 inch +/- mill, asphalt paving, repairs to existing drainage structures, sanitary structure adjustments, apron repairs, backfilling the edges, loam and seed, and other related items. o Crystal Street from the rotary to North Street - 1.5 inch +/- mill, asphalt paving, repairs to existing drainage structures, sanitary structure adjustments, apron repairs, backfilling the edges, loam and seed, and other related items. o Benefit Street from North Street to Lens Street , 1.5 inch +/- mill, asphalt paving, repairs to existing drainage structures, sanitary structure adjustments, apron repairs, backfilling the edges, loam and seed, and other related items. o Lens Street from Benefit Street to Crystal Street, 1.5 inch +/- mill, asphalt paving, repairs to existing drainage structures, sanitary structure adjustments, apron repairs, backfilling the edges, loam and seed, and other related items. o Dean Street from Benefit Street to Crystal Street, 1.5 inch +/- mill, asphalt paving, repairs to existing drainage structures, sanitary structure adjustments, apron repairs, backfilling the edges, loam and seed, and other related items. o Lens Court from Lens Street to the dead end, 1.5 inch +/- mill, asphalt paving, repairs to existing drainage structures, sanitary structure adjustments, apron repairs, backfilling the edges, loam and seed, and other related items. o Windsor Court from North Street to the dead end, 1.5 inch +/- mill, asphalt paving, repairs to existing drainage structures, sanitary structure adjustments , asphalt paving, apron repairs, backfilling the edges, loam and seed, and other related items. The following streets must be invoiced separately from the above street list.
