Reference number: 20084470 Deadline for receipt of complaints 2025-08-04 Expected duration of the contract without options (in months) 3 In the first five (5) years of installations, these five (5) pumping stations had problems with the pump foot anchors. The vibration of the pumps affects the anchors that break, which causes pipe breaks, significantly slows down activities, and causes wastewater overflow into the river. Firstly, we made attempts to repair by replacing the anchors. Following new breakages, we installed larger and longer anchors. Once again, all the anchors broke. Subsequently, we installed wider steel plates, anchored to the ground and the pump foot on the plate for all the stations. Three (3) positions have been maintained in this way since. On the remaining two (2) positions, we have put even wider steel plates. The 4th has been maintained operational since. In our case here, in 2020, we made a new attempt, we dismantled a concrete layer, put even bigger and thicker steel plates, these were poured into an epoxy concrete. In 2022, one of the pumps broke the anchor on the plate. In March 2025, a 2nd pump broke two (2) anchors as well as the foot itself. We strongly doubt the design of this pump model, which is why the City wishes to favor a FLYGT NPO 3202 HT 3 465 brand pump or the equivalent, in terms of qualities and efficiencies. The performance curve of the KSB KRT 100-400 pump is attached as an appendix. The supplied pump must be: Submersible, non-obstructive type for sewage; Driven by a submersible electric motor operating at 600 volts, 3 phases, 60 hertz; Equivalent in performance to the old pump. The pump must be unlockable by reverse rotations. It will be equipped with fifteen (15) meters of submersible SOW or SUBCAB cable. The cable, covered with neoprene or CPE, must be calibrated according to ACNOR standards and bear the corresponding approval. It will also be equipped with fifteen (15) meters of galvanized steel lifting chain. The rated safety load of the lifting system shall exceed the weight of the pumping unit by 40%. It is possible that the guide bars may be modified according to the type of pump provided. The pump fault detection module will need to be provided (temperature, presence of humidity). The City has its own mechanics and electricians and will take care of: From the installation of the pump feet; From the adjustment of guide bars; The connection of the pump and control modules, under the supervision of the supplier. A representative of the supplier must be present when the pumps are put into service. The pumps must be delivered to the treatment plant. The City will organize the crane for the installation, in the presence of a representative of the supplier.
