Construction of approximately 550 linear feet of new 5-foot sidewalk with paved and aggregate approaches. Federal Project TAP-9901(210) located directly adjacent to Georgia Street in the City of Louisiana, Missouri. The prime contractor must be on MoDOTs Qualified Contractor List per the most current version of the Missouri Standard Specifications for Highway Construction, including all revisions. The contractor must have a fully responsive questionnaire on file with the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission (MHTC) at least 7 days prior to bid opening. The bidder will insure that Disadvantaged Business Enterprises will have the opportunity to participate in the performance of this contract and or any subcontracts. Goals for the amount of work to be awarded to DBEs will be 8 % of the total contract price. DBE subcontractors must be on the MRCC DBE Directory prior to bid opening. A bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid amount must accompany each bid, in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. For a contractor to be awarded this project the contractor must have a fully responsive contractor questionnaire on file with the Missouri Highway and Transportation Commission at least 7 days prior to the bid opening date. All bidders must be on MoDOTs Qualified Contractor List per Section 102.2 of the 2024 Missouri Standard Specifications for Highway Construction. A certified or cashiers check or a bid bond in the amount of 5% shall be submitted with each proposal. No 2nd tier subcontracting will be allowed on this project.
