Reference Number 0000393116 Bid Intent Optional Bid Intent Deadline 08/11/2025 11:00 AM EDT Gravel, Lightweight Aggregate, Limestone (Chip Seal Rock) and Base Coarse Aggregates The Bidder also agrees to furnish the Police Jury with their haul rate schedule in the event the Rapides Parish Public Works Department requests hauling of various materials. Bidder shall furnish the Police Jury their haul rate schedule (price per ton); from a one (1) mile haul up to a sixty (60) mile haul. *All Aggregate shall meet or exceed the requirements of Louisiana State D.O.T.D. Gold Book The pit run mixture shall be as follows: 35% metal with 95% to 100% passing the 1-1/2'' sieve size, liquid limit shall be 35% maximum, plastic index 4-12. The successful bidder will be required to stockpile 200 yards and shall be tested by an approved test laborator. The approved testing laboratory to be used by the successful contractor shall be approved by the Parish Public Works Director. This project consists of furnishing and loading gravel and base coarse Aggregates as requested in accordance with provisions set forth for the calendar months period beginning August 12, 2025, and ending August 11, 2026. The contract proposal form in its entirety shall become a part of the contract upon execution by the Rapides Parish Police Jury. Bidder shall fill in the contract proposal completely and shall sign in the appropriate places. The proposal shall be submitted in duplicate in a sealed envelope so marked as to indicate its contents. This envelope shall be sealed, addressed, and/or delivered to the Rapides Parish Police Jury, 701 Murray Street, Suite 201, Alexandria, LA 71301 before the time set for receiving proposals on the front hereof.
