A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** CR Number: 2124467 Furnish and install electrical wiring in existing conduits, furnish and install new bollard lights on existing foundations. Construct new exit platform with railing and stair to grade with foundations and stair landing slab. Extend existing screen wall; ancillary work as required for complete installation. Contract term: 3 months The Owner may consider informal any bid not prepared and submitted in accordance with the provisions hereof, and may waive any informalities in or reject any and all bids. Any bid may be withdrawn prior to the above scheduled time for the opening of bids or authorized postponement thereof. Any bid received after the time and date specified, shall not be considered. No bidder may withdraw a bid within forty-five (45) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Each bid must be accompanied by cash, cashier's check, certified check of the bidder, or bid bond, prepared on the form of bid bond attached hereto, duly executed by the bidder as principal and having as surety thereon a surety company approved by the Owner, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid. The successful bidder, upon his failure or refusal to execute and deliver the Contract and Performance Bond required within ten (10) days after he has received notice of the acceptance of his bid, shall forfeit to the Owner as liquidated damages for such failure or refusal, the security deposited with his bid, or the amount of bid bond. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or to accept any bid should it deem it to be for its best interest so to do. Bids not prepared and submitted in accordance with the provisions of Information for Bidders, and for bids which are incomplete, conditional, or obscure, or which contain additions not called for, erasures, alterations, or irregularities of any kind, may be rejected as informal.
