Perry County Board of Education (OWNER) will receive proposals through Codell Construction Company (Construction Manager as Constructor) to furnish all labor and materials to complete the Buckhorn School Flood Renovation & Repairs Re-Bid Floodproofing, located at 18392 KY HWY 28, Buckhorn, KY 41721. Work is to be performed in accordance with plans, specifications, and addenda prepared by Clotfelter-Samokar, PSC (ARCHITECT), Shrout Tate Wilson (M/E ENGINEER), and Brown + Kubican (STRUCTURAL ENGINEERS). This project is funded in part by FEMA Public Assistance Awards related to federally declared disaster DR4663KY. All contracts and subcontracts for the project must comply with the Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards at 2 C.F.R Part 200. All bidders shall comply with all applicable federal law, regulations, executive orders, FEMA policies, procedures, and directives, including but not limited to those found in the Volume One Project Manual Bidding and Contract Documents as well as comply with Perry County's requirement for Occupational Tax. Proposals shall be presented through competitive sealed bidding and opened publicly pursuant to KRS 45A.080 and 2 C.F.R Part 200. Bids from Small Business Enterprises (SBE,MBE,WBE,VOSB,etc.) are encouraged and supported. Contracts shall be awarded to the responsive and responsible bidders whose bids represent the lowest price and best value for the Owner. Contract shall be executed between the bidder and Codell Construction Company, the Construction Manager as Constructor. The Owner and Codell Construction Company reserve the right to reject any or all bids and to waive all informalities and/or technicalities where the best interest of the Owner can be served.
