Renovation of an educational facility in Fallsington, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The Pennsbury School District reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any informality in any bid, to eliminate or reduce items or quantities and to exercise its judgement as to the comparative merit of the products and services offered. This bid to include the removal and replacement of existing rubber stair tread/risers, and landings at the William Penn Middle School. Bid to include rubber flooring, must be manufactured by Interface, product line Norament or approved equal. (Equals will be considered and approved by the Facilities Department, based on a product specification, side by side comparison). Bids shall include demolition and disposal of existing floor treads and risers, grinding and scraping to remove old adhesive and required floor prep of existing substrate, and installation of new rubber floor treads & risers. It is understood that all work (once the bid is awarded) will be performed during normal business hours, M-F, 7 am- 8 pm. Must include 1 year installer workmanship warranty and manufacturer's standard product warranty. Base Bid work area #1- To include stair tower S1/S2/S3 in school's C wing. Alternate Bid to include stair towers S1 & S2 in the school's E wing It is recommended that all those submitting a bid, should visit the school to verify existing conditions to be able to provide a complete and responsible bid.
