Award: Longhorn Excavators, Inc., in the Amount of $5,889,690.69 Providing the necessary labor, equipment supervision, and expertise to construct the West Infrastructure Improvements which includes stormwater retention ponds and drainage ditches that flow into these ponds, perimeter berms and roadway improvements, culverts, perimeter fencing, electrical service adjustments, and other miscellaneous improvements associated with this work for the City of Edinburg Regional Disposal Facility, TCEQ Permit MSW-956C and all other work as described in these specifications and on the attached project plans. The City of Edinburg reserves the right to refuse and reject any or all bids and to waive any or all formalities or technicalities and to accept the bid deemed most advantageous to the City, and hold the bids for a period of 60 days without taking action. Bids received after the deadline will not be considered for the award of the contract and shall be considered void and unacceptable. Bids will not be accepted by telephone or facsimile machine.
