**As of September 22, 2025 , this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded on October 13, 2025.** The project includes the following major items: installation of asphalt pavement on unpaved and paved roads; minor clearing and grubbing; reshaping of existing roadbed, installation of curb and gutter, driveway aprons, drainage in frastructure, etc. The City of Rocky Mount is seeking 10% minority business participation on this project. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality. The City will not discriminate against any bidder submitting a bid because of race, creed, color, national origin, or handicap. The Contractor that is recommended for award of the contract shall be responsible for supplying a notarized E-Verify affidavit be fore award of the contract if one is not on file with the City of Rocky Mount Purchasing Office. A Bid Security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid must accompany each Bid, a $500,000.00 or more. A 100% Performance Bond and 100%Payment Bond will be required from the successful bidder or any bids$300,000.00 or more. Bids for this project shall be guaranteed by all bidders for a period of 90 calendar days following the bid opening.
