Site work and new construction of a fire / police facility in Morgantown, Kentucky. Working plans call for the construction of a 10,000-square-foot, one-story above grade fire / police facility; and for site work for a fire / police facility.
As of 10/2/2025, no contracts were awarded for this project. The project will be rebid. This project consists of construction of 10,000 square feet fire station with five garage bays. The new facility will entail an office, restrooms, kitchen, storage room, parking, and a large multipurpose room area. The estimated project time is 12 months Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount. Successful bidders will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory Performance and Labor Material Payment Bonds. The bond shall cover the entire base bid cost and any accepted alternates The owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities. Updated drawings & RFI questions have been issued as of 8-1-2025. Every request for such interpretation should be in writing addressed to at and to be given consideration must be received at least five (5) days prior to the date fixed for the opening of bids. Addendum #1 has been issued.
