City of Hapeville (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: Hapeville Annual Contract for Construction and Maintenance of Utilities. The Contract Project consists of the construction of gravity sewers and force mains of four (4) inch through eighteen (18) inch diameter including manholes, service lines, service connections, road crossings, site work, appurtenances, erosion/sediment control measures, labor and materials necessary to install the authorized work. The Project also includes the construction of water lines of two (2) inch through eighteen (18) inch diameter including valves, fire hydrants, services connections, road crossings, site work, appurtenances, erosion/sediment control measures, labor and materials necessary to install the authorized work. The project also includes the construction stormwater lines, including various structures, road crossings, site work, appurtenances, erosion/sediment control measures, labor and materials necessary to install the authorized work. The Contract may include emergency type activities on a short notice basis. The Contract will renew automatically one year after the Agreement Date, unless written notification is provided by either party within 90 days of the Contract Completion Date. The Contract will include an additional one-year options for renewal, resulting in a three-year Contract. Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of 5 percent of the total bid amount. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 60 calendar days after opening of bids. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities.
