A timeline for award has not been established yet ** Howard County, Maryland (the "County") seeks a qualified firm (the "Contractor") to furnish Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) Services. The Contractor shall be able to obtain energization and commercial operation of solar photovoltaic arrays at various County locations including parking canopy systems and a ground mount system. The facility has the following utilities: 1-phase 240 amp electric, Comcast and Verizon fiber exists along Carrs Mill Road. Tie-ins to utilities should be at Carrs Mill Road. Locations- Ascend One Building - The County estimates this will be a 775 kW canopy over parking at 8930 Stanford Boulevard in Columbia, MD. Parking is available both in front of and behind the building. Troy Park - The County estimates this will be a 700 kW canopy over parking at Troy Park, located at 6500 Mansion Lane in Elkridge, MD. Blandair Park - The County estimates this will be a 1,230 kW canopy over parking at the West Parking Lot of Blandair Park, located at 5750 Oakland Mills Road in Columbia, MD. Elkridge Fire Station - The County estimates this will be a 190 kW canopy over the north parking lot of the Elkridge Fire Station at 5700 Rowanberry Drive in Elkridge MD. The County would like to meet a 190 kW capacity minimum at this site in order to unlock the largest possible grant for this site.
