For furnishing the necessary labor, materials, equipment, tools, and guarantees thereof to construct the WWTP Clarifier Improvements. The work specified consists of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the installation of an Owner-furnished 46-foot clarifier mechanism, as shown on the Plans, and hereinafter specified, at the existing wastewater treatment plant site. Work shall include, but not be limited to, the following: Install City-provided clarifier mechanism including the sludge truss scraper assembly, weir trough assembly, effluent pipe, thrust bearing, guide bearing, sludge scraper drive shaft and steady shaft. Sandblast and paint bridge, handrail, skirt supports, scum mechanism an all other appurtenances as shown on the Plans. Provide testing, commissioning, and training as specified herein. Provide all associated work as shown on the Plans and specified herein, for a complete and workable system. The Work shall be Substantially complete within 30 working days after the commencement date stated in the Notice to Proceed. All bidding and construction is to be performed in compliance with the Contract Provisions and Contract Plans for this project and any addenda issued thereto that are on file at the office of the City Clerk, City Hall, Omak, Washington. Proposals are to be submitted only on the form provided with the Bid Documents. All Proposals must be accompanied by a certified check, postal money order, cashiers check, or Proposal bond payable to the "City of Omak" and in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total Proposal amount. Financing of the Project has been provided by the City of Omak. The City of Omak expressly reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals and to waive minor irregularities or informalities in any Proposal.
