Site work and renovation of a civil project in Follansbee, West Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Pittsburgh District, has a requirement for completing improvements to the existing water distribution system and water treatment plant in the City of Follansbee, Brooke County, West Virginia. The major work of this requirement is: Upgrade existing water treatment plant from 700GPM to 1,000GPM, distribution system work, and water storage tank work. The work shall be completed 455 calendar days after written Notice to Proceed. Per FAR 36.204(f), magnitude of construction is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. This acquisition will be procured as an Unrestricted, Full and Open Competition. The resulting award will be for one (1) Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) Contract. All responsible Bidders are encouraged to participate. The Invitation for Bid (IFB) will be issued online through Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) which posts the opportunity to SAM.gov; therefore, requests for hardcopies of the solicitation will not be honored. The NAICS Code is 237110, Water and Sewer Line and Related Structures Construction, and the Small Business Size Standard is $45,000,000.00. In order to submit a Bid for this project, your company must: 1) Be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and maintain an active registration status and 2) be registered in the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) for the Solicitation Module with the PROPOSAL MANAGER Role.
